Isaiah 55:1-9

Isaiah 55
The Free Offer of Mercy
1″Ho! Every one who (A)thirsts, come to the waters;
And you who have (B)no money come, buy and eat
Come, buy (C)wine and milk
(D)Without money and without cost.
2″Why do you spend money for what is (E)not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and (F)eat what is good,
And (G)delight yourself in abundance.
3″(H)Incline your ear and come to Me
Listen, that you may (I)live;
And I will make (J)an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the (K)faithful mercies shown to David.
4″Behold, I have made (L)him a witness to the peoples,
A (M)leader and commander for the peoples.
5″Behold, you will call a (N)nation you do not know,
And a nation which knows you not will (O)run to you,
Because of the LORD your God, even the Holy One of Israel;
For He has (P)glorified you.”
6(Q)Seek the LORD while He may be found;
(R)Call upon Him while He is near.
7(S)Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his (T)thoughts;
And let him (U)return to the LORD,
And He will have (V)compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will (W)abundantly pardon.
8″For My thoughts are not (X)your thoughts,
Nor are (Y)your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.
9″For (Z)as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Children’s Sermon Scripture is

Philippians 3:18

18For (A)many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even (B)weeping, that they are enemies of (C)the cross of Christ,

Today’s Scripture Reading is

Philippians 3:17-4:1

17Brethren, (A)join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the (B)pattern you have in us.

18For (C)many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even (D)weeping, that they are enemies of (E)the cross of Christ,

19whose end is destruction, whose god is their (F)appetite, and whose (G)glory is in their shame, who (H)set their minds on earthly things.

20For (I)our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly (J)wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

21who will (K)transform the body of our humble state into (L)conformity with the (M)body of His glory, (N)by the exertion of the power that He has even to (O)subject all things to Himself.
Philippians 4
Think of Excellence
1Therefore, my beloved brethren whom I (P)long to see, my joy and crown, in this way (Q)stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.

Today’s Scripture Reading is Romans 10:8b-13

Romans 10:8-13

8But what does it say? “(A)THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”–that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

9that (B)if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and (C)believe in your heart that (D)God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

11For the Scripture says, “(E)WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”

12For (F)there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is (G)Lord of (H)all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

13for “(I)WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”
